It doesn’t need to be loud. You can hide it to protect yourself. But don’t let anyone convince you that you are worth anything less.
Because you’re the shit. I don’t need to know you to know it. You’re the shit.
The only reason it’s hard to believe it is because it’s not safe to be confident in your awesomeness, no thanks to White Christian supremacy and capitalism.
Pursuing and finishing a graduate degree will only further highlight how awesome you are. Stay safe, but don’t hide yourself forever. You have the right to brag about your accomplishments and current journey.
It takes audacity to pursue and create knowledge. And you’re doing it! Remember that you’re the shit and keep going.
